If you think that sinning is just in the act of doing something that is morally wrong, think again!
By keeping secret fantasies and habits hidden from your partner is equally as dangerous as the act of actually fulfilling those fantasies and habits.
The power of the mind is incomparable. Think about this! Before you say something or do something you first think about it. You then give birth to that thought through making it a reality by your actions. This is why Jesus said
Matthew 5:27-28
27 “You have heard that the law of Moses says, ‘Do not commit adultery.’ 28 But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust in his eye has already committed adultery with her in his heart."
If you continue to hide the secret fantasy or habit it will grow stronger, pretending it doesn't exist isn't only wrong but it gives it greater power over your life. If this is you than it's time to let go of the secret!
Perhaps this is your opportunity to start a new chapter in your relationship, make sure you start it without any baggage!
Psalm 90:8
"You have set our iniquities before you,
our secret sins in the light of your presence."
