Seeking the Invisible!

Time is just flying by and my children are growing up so quickly that I can't even remember the time I spent nursing them as babies.  I feel the clock ticking and time running short these days.  There's so much I want to teach them.
I've been focusing more on teaching my children to bring their concerns to God in prayer.  The Bible says that " Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done." Philippians 4:6
There will always be situations that rise up to worry us but when we start tracking down what we bring to God in prayer and how He answers those prayers we can see that in its due time God answers our prayers.
A few months back I made a chart for my kids with their prayer requests and as God started to answer those prayers they placed stickers on it.  It was such a great visual for them to see in their own writing how their concerns were there on that chart and how God in His special way answered each prayer.  They became so excited.
If I were to teach them how to place their dependance on friends I know sooner or later they would be disappointed.  Friends cannot help us solve every issue we might face but God can sort things out in accordance to the way He finds most fiting for our lives.
I certainly don't have the perfect parenting skills but I learn from my own life experiences and seek God for direction so that my children can learn from me.

Proverbs 22:6
Direct your children onto the right path,
and when they are older, they will not leave it."
