Over rated

Everything in this world when it comes to faith and being morally upright seems to be called over rated by many.

Everything required by a God to keep moral order in our world is no longer accepted.  

Our biggest gift, free will, has been our biggest downfall from God's grace.

I keep thinking back about what the bible says when it describes the creation of the world.  Here we have this amazing paradise that was carefully designed as a playground for us.  God so loves and cares for us that He gave us authority over everything He made and was so humble that He passed on the privilege of naming everything to one man. (Genesis 1-2)

It was all made for us yet our free will to choose unrighteousness has and continues to destroy the life that God had intended for us to live.

So you really want to discuss what really is over rated?  

* anger

* mothers that are so overwhelmed and overworked that their families end up becoming a burden instead of a blessing to enjoy

* lack of commitment to marriage

*lack of respect for others

*lack of  kindness

* no value for human life

* no balance in life

And the list goes on.

Is believing and loving God really over rated? After looking at my list above I don't see how to pursue love, kindness, grace, hope and all the qualities that God expects from us can be over rated.

We have the free will to choose and what we choose can make a difference in our lives and of those that surround us.  

Loving God over rated? I don't think so!
