Faith wages

I was thinking how hard we work sometimes.  How we put so much time, energy and of ourselves into our jobs without initially seeing the reward of our labor. 

You start a job and give it your best the first week but you still need to wait one week before receiving your first wages.  You have to use a certain level of faith believing that your employer will pay you your wages in one week.  

Same works with our faith,  you need to labor your faith and put it to work so you can later receive the reward for your work.

You get from faith what you put into it.  

"Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up." Galatians 6:7-9

If we focus on doing good even thou it might not be reciprocated WE WILL receive our reward in due season.

You don't see your paycheck the first day you start working but have to work and wait patiently for one week to finally receive your wages of your hard work.  The same way I encourage you to use your faith believing what God can change in your life and wait patiently for the amazing results.
