If you are facing any sort of afflictions in your life, know this "God loves you to much to keep you in your sorrows". He also knows us well, better than we know ourselves. He will allow trials to shape our compassion, wisdom and persistence. Our endurance and trust in Him will eventually lead us to the many blessings that He has in store for us.
When I look back at my life with God I see many blessings but I see an even greater group of trials. They were trials that forced me to trust God despite the many times I just wanted to give up. I had to make many difficult decisions, some of which I did not understand. Decisions that sacrificed what I wanted for what God wanted.
I've learned to have tolerance which is definitely something I did not have before. I've also learned that to be acceptable of others but not to expect anyone to be acceptable of me. In other words, not everyone is going to like me. Which is okay!
Our God is one that moves us. He doesn't like to see us stuck in just one blessing when He has so many others to give. If He has a plan to use you to do something great than I will warn you not to get too comfortable wherever you are at in your life.
He will shape you, He will increase your faith through blessings and also through life's deserts but He will fulfill His plan for you.
Just like He did for Abraham. He told him to leave everything he knew, his family, his job, his life as he knew it. Not only did he tell him to leave he didn't tell him where he was going. Yet Abraham trusted. He knew he did not understand the request but he knew he would be blessed by trusting God.
You might be going through something you don't understand but I encourage you to trust God because He will bring you to your blessings!
