Stir up

As the years pass I see the importance of how much women need to surround themselves with other women as a method of encouragement.

There is a need to encourage others.  Life today is not easy.

Women look in the mirror and are constantly looking for flaws.  I haven't heard any woman say " I look great, there is nothing about my complexion and appearance that needs to be changed".
We look at our life and looks and can instantly pinpoint a flaw.  Like we are broken and in dire need of someone to come and fix us.
We can fix the outside, but that in itself won't fix the brokenness of what's on the inside.  It won't fix disappointments, tiredness, loneliness and emptiness.  There is so much emotional damage in women today that it takes much encouragement and prayer to heal their brokenness.
This is why we need each other, if we didn't the Word of God wouldn't recommend it
"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." Hebrews 10:24

Ladies we need to be a constant source of hope and encouragement.  There is a lot of emotional healing that needs to happen.  Our life shouldn't be consumed with nonsense.  If you are spending a lot of time listening and speaking to gossip than you are trying to fix what's broken inside of you with a disease that will certainly bring you more turmoil.

EVALUATE who you surround yourselves with.  Perhaps it's time to clean up your friends list and surround yourself with people that aren't only there for you when all is great but those that give you hope, encouragement and love when all is falling apart in your life.
