What happens when we have a half successful diet plan? I tell you from my past one year experience, i started to finally after so many years to see my weight shed, clothing fitting the way they should fit without any bulging and i can't even tell you what feeling fit does to your self esteem. I felt great!
Unfortunately, all it takes is for that self motivation to diminish a little and for me to start to talk myself into not following my healthy diet and the pounds start to appear much quicker than how they were shed. Then the dreaded self pity begins. We don't feel good about how we look and then we think that indulging on sweets will make our self esteem improve. NOT!!!
The reason i wanted to share my diet with you is because it made me realize that we can't live life feeling half empty, like there's something missing and that is sometimes so far from our reach that it almost seems impossible for us to hold.
Our bound with God is similar to our diet.. The more driven you are to seek Him and trust Him the more you start to see Him work in your life and breaking all the barriers that were set to destroy you. However, the moment you become comfortable and start to get lazy in your walk with God you start to feel unfulfilled and empty.
No wonder the Word of God says " “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me! Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart." John &:37-38
If you feel thirsty and your glass is half empty than work on seeking God so he can fill it, just the same goes to living a fit life we need to get up and move and let go of any temptation that will set us back from reaching our goal. For me it's to start this new upcoming month exercising daily my physical body and also my spiritual relationship with my God.
Be the full glass because you can!
