Be You!

We has women have such a unique purpose given by God that every evil force in the universe rises up against us just to prevent the glory of God to shine through us.
The first weapon that is always forged against us is doubt.  We doubt how special we truly are.  We question our beauty, our intelligence and most dangerously our worth.
When speaking to different women i always hear the pain of how worthless they feel.  How unappreciated they feel  by their family and spouses.  They are women clothed with strength, that tend to their homes, children, finances, the weight of looking beautiful for their husbands and the list goes on...
But yet most can't avoid the sense of being unappreciated.  Their list of responsibilities becomes  a expectations by their spouses.  Women are expected to behave, look and think like goodly angels but not very often hear the praise they deserve by their spouses and their true value diminishes.
I'm not speaking of those who live a careless selfish life that don't weigh in the consequences of their actions.  I'm speaking of those who every day wake up with the purpose of giving their very best to their families.  Who's responsibilities at times take even a toll on their emotions.
As a woman of God I was always taught you can never live by your emotions and that what is expected of me as a wife is nothing less than my duty. This has been a double edged sword in my life, because every time i felt sad for the lack of attention or appreciation i deserve i would have a feeling of guilt for even experiencing these emotions. That is until i found my self worth, when i discovered who I truly belong to and as a child of the Living God I deserve every bit of respect and love that God has in store for me.  If I am capable of giving the best of myself to my family than I deserve nothing but the best from them.
Always give the best of yourself to your family for if God entrusted them to you than they deserve to receive the best of you.  Don't allow your faults to rule over your life daily.  Get over the guilt of your short comings and strive every day to live an uncompromising life.  Every day is a new day that God is granting you to make a change for the better.
"Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is." Ephesians 5:15-17
Make the most of every opportunity that God gives you daily to live wisely and let go of any resentment that might be hindering your blessings.  Find your self worth and don't settle for anything but the very best of God for your life.  True that you will have many daily responsibilities and these responsibilities have been entrusted by God Himself because He saw that you were more than capable to handling them and therefore there is no one better than you to take hold of them.
Most importantly be who God created you to be not the cheap copy of someone else.
