Which kind of person are you?

You know the old saying "you are either a good person or a bad person".  If life was just that simple that we could divide people into categories,  you know; cat lover versus dog lover, over achiever versus underachievers, those that love to exercise versus those that are coach potatoes, and so forth...
Sometimes i wish there weren't categories, that we didn't necessarily would have to pick which category to belong too.  Isn't life stressful enough why then do we need to pick and chose.
Well the reality is everything in this life and our upcoming eternal life is about picking which category we belong too.
There are only two categories that dictate your eternal life, either life by grace or life by the law.
You are probably thinking, WHAT DO YOU MEAN?
To live life by grace has such a powerful meaning to those of us that have come to the realization that we aren't perfect and unless we accept the grace of Christ and repent from our sins we will never rightly inherit the kingdom of God.  So in order for you to rightfully inherit the kingdom of God you need to let go of your past sins and change the course that your life was taking into a course of obedience to God's word and living each day to be in right standing with God.
Let me tell you, it's not easy living each day in obedience to God, a lot of different things will rise up against you just to make you sway away from your faith but nothing will every take your right standing with God unless you allow it to.
To live life by the law means that if we don't repent from our sins and change the course of our life we will be roughly judged by the law of God.  In other words, continue to live life without weighing the consequences of your actions and you will have an eternity full of regret.
There is not such thing as a perfect person but God looks at our heart and the desire it carries to live our life to please him.  To be cautious of every decision we make to make sure it isn't going to leave a negative impact on someones life.  To live life aware that there are consequences for every word and every action.  To take responsibility for where we have wronged and have the ability not to make the same mistake.  God is more worried about where we are going instead of where we have been!
