Powerful words

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life]." Proverbs 18:21

Just reading this passage a few minutes ago made me think "OUCH".  I can definitely go back and see how i planted such harsh words that only gave birth to something difficult in my life.
Sometimes it's easy to just say what we think and not measure the consequences of what will come of it later.  If you, like myself, want to live a happy fulfilled life start speaking kind words to others and about others so you can reap the blessings from those words.
If you wish well upon the life of others God will bless you and provide for you beyond measure.
Notice how the verse says "death and life are in the power of the tongue", this means that your words have the power to dictate your future whether you will speak words of faith and encouragement that will bring life to yourself or someone else or speak words of negativity and gossip that will bring death into your own life. 
Let us strive to plant words of kindness and peace so our harvest can be one that will bring great joy into our life!
