Have you ever felt like no one is listening? Sometimes you try to explain your emotions your feelings and it seems that the person that you share it with just doesn’t get it. Our spouses get it even less than a close friend. There are just some feelings that we face that truly only God can understand.
The most amazing thing about God is that He is an unconditional friend, really He is! He will always be available when you need to chat, whether night or day He is always willing to listen. Who else could you call up at 3 o’clock in the morning to chat with? Only God! His love for you and me is unconditional. Believe this with all your heart, you are truly loved and valued!
James 1:6
New Living Translation (NLT)
6 “But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind.”
Like the verse above states that our faith needs to be in God alone. So don’t doubt that God is listening to you and refuse to believe that He only listens to those that are higher up in status with Him than you are. The Bible says that He listens to all that seek Him out. Don’t waver; don’t doubt that He is listening to you. His word states that if you knock He will open the door. You need to be the one that is knocking at His door. He craves for our prayers and delights Himself in answering our prayers. Don’t limit what you ask of Him, think big and also think of the little things that you might think are too small to request from Him. He can give you peace, joy and never ending love!
Take advantage of the opportunity you have today to seek His presence; you might not have that opportunity again.
Mostly everyone that I have had the opportunity to speak with feel alone. People are just looking for someone to love them unconditionally, if only they could believe that they always had someone that loved them unconditionally. What do you call someone giving their only son to die on a cross for you? Think about this; He was in heaven lacking nothing and God sent Him purposely to live in the world just like you and I and not only to live in the world as proof that we can overcome anything that He overcame but He came to die for us.
Take a moment and meditate on how you view yourself. Find your self-worth and do not allow anyone to ever take it away from you. Your worth is in the one that created you so don’t belittle yourself you are greatly adored. Don’t blame anyone for your previous pain, life can be difficult and it is also very short. So why spend the little time we have with resentment, anger, jealousy, envy and bitterness? Make a decision to let go of all of it and you will find great peace. Allow God to bring justice to all those people that have wronged you. When you allow your peace to be robbed because of someone else than that person has already accomplished destruction in your life. To be happy is to put your trust in The Lord of heavens that will deliver you and bring justice to you. Be blessed and don’t lose out on the opportunity to find much needed and deserved peace!
