I will never leave you!

"Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]
So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me?" Hebrews 13:5-6

I heard this scripture today and it brought such strength to my heart. Not only is this passage in the Bible one more of the many confirmations that God gives to those who trust Him, but also notice that three times God says : I will not, will not, will not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake you.
Why doubt the promise that He gives to those who place their trust on Him? We should never allow the devil to place doubt in our minds of what God has already solved.
After a much draining and tiresome week i realized more than ever the importance of needing to rest our bodies and minds. You see, if the devil isn't bothering with us than we aren't bothering him. If you are striving to do the will of God in your life you need to be ready to also face the opposition that the devil will bring on. We can only overcome this opposition with placing our thoughts and emotions in agreement with God. When we are tired and overwhelmed it is easier to place our thoughts and emotions with agreement with how we feel. We can't see things as clear as God wants us to see them when we are tired and running on how we are feeling. This is the reason why in the Bible God always forced some of His most valuable prophets to rest, because He knew that if they were tired and overwhelmed, they wouldn't be mentally and physically capable to accomplish the work that God had for them to do.
When we are tired we become touchy feely. Meaning anything is sure to bother us. We must learn how to make time not only to do all that we need to do but mostly rest in the goodness of God and especially make time to listen to what He wants to reveal to our hearts.
Let us strive to balance our lives so that we can be spiritually and physically renewed to accomplish the amazing things that God has called us to do and receive! Like the verse says God will never leave us unless we leave Him! Be blessed this week!
