Who shut down my brain?

There are times when we feel that we aren't even out of bed in the morning and the thoughts start creeping in to our mind.  There has been no bigger battle found than the battle inside our minds.  I've realized that to obtain victory over our problems we need to start with victory in our minds.
Everything in our life derives from our thought life.  Whether victories or losses, it all starts in the mind.
I have constantly heard people say the same thing over and over again "I can't help how I feel".  The truth is we can help how we feel.
We have the choice, when a thought comes into our mind we have the choice to accept it or refuse it.  If we choose to dwell in the negative than the outcome of that is feeling lousy.
I recently heard a neurologist say that 98% of all illnesses derive from our mind.  Can you believe that?  Our mind!  She also mentioned that if we dedicate 10 minutes daily 7 times a day to meditate in good things we can reverse the damage that our worry has caused our body.
No wonder the Bible says
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans 12:2
So if you want to taste God’s perfect and good will for your life then start changing how you think.  When the devil tries to dump garbage in your mind than refuse it and toss it out by refusing to meditate on those things that aren’t good for you.
In the same token start to think positive, not living by what you see in front of you or even by what you feel but by the everlasting faith in God.  Start to believe in your mind that God has a great health, financial, peace, love and joy blessing for you despite what you see and feel.  Soon enough you will see these blessings come to you.  Be blessed and determine in your mind that you don’t accept anything but the amazing goodness of God into your life.
