Take responsibility!

We all have to be conscious that one day we are going to be held accountable by God for every conduct, action, word and thought.  That’s right, every single thing we do!  When you meditate in the word of God it gives us specific guides that show us that one day everything we do we will be held responsible for.

Romans 14:12 says, "So then each of us shall give account of himself to God."  That is personal accountability!  Personal accountability for our children, the type of spouse we are, friend, son or daughter, employee or employer, our words and of our thoughts.

Today I was researching in the internet some statistics, and I was stunned by what I found.  Here are some of them for you to view:

According to enrichment journal on the divorce rate in America:
The divorce rate in America for first marriage is 41%
The divorce rate in America for second marriage is 60%
The divorce rate in America for third marriage is 73%

Number of abortions per year: 1.37 Million (1996)
Number of abortions per day: Approximately 3,700

Who's having abortions (age)?52% of women obtaining abortions in the U.S. are younger than 25: Women aged 20-24 obtain 32% of all abortions; Teenagers obtain 20% and girls under 15 account for 1.2%.

All these statistics are a sign or our irresponsibility and lack of accountability for our actions.

 We are living perilous times and our future in this world is very uncertain, now more so than ever it is time to take accountability for our sins and seek God’s good mercy.  If you don’t start to build a relationship with God now you might never have another opportunity.  Like I often say “I can afford to believe and seek God but can I really risk not believing or seeking Him?”
