Is it easier said than done?

Having faith is easier said than done.  But ultimately it is all about our individual decision.  Our thought pattern determines the victories that we can conquer in our lives.  Our faith starts in our mind.  If you don’t believe it no one else will.
Picture this; Moses was lead by God to take the Israelites out of slavery from Egypt.  After they saw God’s amazing power by which God plagued the Egyptians they were very happy and didn’t think twice about leaving Egypt when the opportunity was given to them by Pharaoh.  I mean, come on, let’s think about this for one minute, either stay in Egypt and be a slave or go with the protection and the blessing of this amazing and powerful God that smite the Egyptians with all sorts of horrible plagues.
So it seems they didn’t have much to hold them back in Egypt, their decision seemed very easy.  It was so easy that two million people left Egypt and the Bible says they left singing and dancing.  So here we have two million people on an eleven day journey across a desert to get to the land that God had promised them.  So what went wrong?  What made them circle the desert for forty years to get to the same place that should have only taken those 11 days?
The reason for their delay was their constant nagging and complaining.  Their attitude stunk!  Go figure they were slaves and a eleven day journey shouldn’t have been that difficult to endure in comparison to being a slave for four hundred years.  But they complained and complained and were constantly testing God.  So God got so feed up with them that He promised that all those that disobeyed Him and complained and doubted would not enter the Promised Land.  So after forty years out of the two million people that had initially left Egypt only two entered the Promised Land.  Not two hundred or two thousand or even twenty only TWO.  They were the only two that never questioned God and were faithful to Him.
So how do we compare to these stubborn narrow minded Israelites?  Is it worth questioning God and His ability to get us out of our problems?  Don’t let your quick journey out of your problem turn into a forty year lesson of waiting.  Your doubt comes from your mind so learn to change your thoughts and place them in agreement with God and He will deliver you out of your Egypt.
