Yesterday I wrote about how we need to be cautious about who we share our thoughts and struggles with. How advise coming from the wrong place can be destructive to our lives.
Just like Job, during his tragedy, had his three friends come to comfort him and instead brought him grief. It is important to remember one important part of the life of Job, in the end God rebuked Job's friends for their judgmental comments. Most importantly what Job did next was the most crucial part of the whole story,
Job 42:10
"When Job prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes. In fact, the Lord gave him twice as much as before!"
Don't allow past hurt from others to refrain you from receiving your blessing. Forgive, pray for those that have hurt you so that you don't allow the root of bitterness to grow inside your heart! Most importantly so that your future blessings aren't blocked by your unwillingness to forgive and let go!
