Be still!

“Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10).

Don't do anything!  Trust that I have control of the situation.  This is what God is saying in this Psalm, it's not a sign of weakness in our behalf but instead a symbol of trust in Him who will always bring forth justice and rectify any injustice that has ever been done against us.

God isn't passive, on the contrary He defends those that love Him and place their trust in Him.  He also doesn't ask us to be passive there are moments we need to stand up for what is righteous but there are also those moments when we don't have the tools to solve something and He asks us to "chill out and know that He is God!".

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth do change” (Psalm 46:1-2a). PRESENT, meaning He is there with you and me NOW when we are facing any difficult situation and things will change and change is scary most of the times but what comfort to know that He does not change.
He is present!

Even if the world around you is crumbling I encourage you to look up to the heavens and look at the magnitude of what He created and ask yourself "what can He not do in your life".

God rocks!
