This is an amazing quality but can also be conflicting when it comes to our dependence on God.
For me whether it's with situations or people I feel I also need to have the solution for everything.
At times this becomes overwhelming especially when there's things that I can't find a solution for. This is when I remember what God has been working to teach me;
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding." Proverbs 3:5
We cannot lean on ourselves to solve everything nor can me try to solve the greatest issues of our lives with other alternatives to God. Most people want to have a backup plan just in case God doesn't come through. How will we know if God is taking care of something unless we release that situation unto His hands?
Releasing it unto His hands requires trust. Believing on what we yet not see but knowing that God will work every situation for our good somehow.
I can give you one experience I've had numerous times. When God tells me it's time to let go of trying to solve a problem on my own and when I don't listen I become fustrated. I'm learning there's things we need to do and others we need to surrender to God.
There are times we will be the problem solver and other times we will be the audience that sits and waits to see the most amazing solver of all problems at work, our God!
