Resist!

To resist is to take a strong stand against something.  You are only going to resist what you feel rising up against you.

When all is going great according to our plans we have no need to resist. All seems well and is going great and we are with our arms wide open willing to receive more of great things. 

 What happens then when all isn't going well and it feels that you are being surrounded on all fronts?

What do you do? Where does our belief in God stand during such times?  

"Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. " James 4:7-8

The more you seek to take the road less travelled and actually make the decisions to walk, talk and act in a godly way the more uprising of trials you will feel.  BUT it is during these times,that if we remain focused and unwavering from the godly road that is less travelled, that we see the devil literally fleeing from us.  

If we are walking in the path of godliness and righteousness we are certain that we are near to God and not even all the forces of hell can beat us.  We will feel the wrath of evil but it will not overcome us.
