The Journal!

 
Everyone who hears someone talk about anything unfortunate happening in their lives will more times than not say "I will be praying for you".  I believe people do wish to see the blessings happening for others and do wish them will but not very often will they actually pray. 
I know I've done this in the past.  I had all the intentions to actually do what I was promising but for one reason or another would forget. 
For some time God has been pounding in my heart to start a prayer journal.  To write down people I'm praying for so when the miracles start happening I can write them as a testimony of God's goodness.  Also so I can be consistent with what I'm actually promising.  So I don't forget the pain that I'm trying to help someone else overcome.  To grow in empathy and fight along with others to accomplish what most times only God can do and give.
So today I start my prayer journal, with the names and problems of all those who recently have asked for prayer. To become a prayer warrior!  To not only fight for what I want to see changed in my own life but to fight for others to accomplish their miracles.

It's time to take hold of what the evil of this world has tried to rob from us and at points actually has robbed us of peace and joy.
Let strive to make it this new year with a renewed faith and become women of prayer!  The world won't become easier to live in but our victories if we place our hope on Christ will be great.
