Some would think that even thou we might have had amazing experiences from God that clearly and constantly shows us that He is always present in our lives, we would never question or doubt His ability. Unfortunately We are so flawed, our faith is great when all is going in our favor but our faith can be so easily shaken when the favor of God seems so distant.
Recently I had to do some deep faith searching within myself. My mind at times became so clouded with fear and worry that it nearly paralyzed me spiritually.
You know when you have those great moments of belief and then bigger moments of trials? Yup, I'm talking about those moments when you want to throw everything up in the air and just hide from everyone and everything. Believe me this happens to everyone, the most faithful believers are shaken. There is one truth about being shaken...
I can be shaken but I will not be broken. No one nor anything has the power to break me from God's mercy and love. Even thou trials come, be certain that also blessings follow.
Blessings certainly have followed my recent trials and they have made me realize more than ever that God is my source of strength and during these uncertain times He is all that I need to keep me going.
Amen. Just this morning, I thought about you. I said that I have seen your writing in a while and tonight as I log on, sis Liz posted your blog. It's such as blessing and I pray that the Lord will continue to give you the strength to do his work. As you said you may be down but not broken. The devil is a liar IJN. And as you stand on Solid Rock(Jesus) you will never be moved. Be blessed and much love.
