Breaking Free!

HOPE is "to cherish a desire with anticipation"; "to desire with expectation of obtainment"; or "to expect with confidence"  There is a instant sense of freedom when we join our hope with our faith. 
When we join the expectation for something great with the assurance that faith brings us that it will come to pass. 
When you place your complete confidence on the creator of all things, on the amazing God there will never be any disappointment. 
I still remember the time twenty years ago when it was revealed to me that God had a good plan for my life and it was a plan of good.  I had to plant this hope into my mind and breakaway from any daily doubt that would bombard my thoughts to diminish my hope and faith of the great plan that God had in store for me.  I started to present to God my desire to have a happy family.  To see my parents get along and for violence to finally leave my home.  I didn't see that happen instantly but every day when doubt would try to shadow my mind i would place my total confidence and assurance that i would be part of a happy home one day. 
All God asked of me was to place my trust in Him and He took care of breaking my family free from shame and violence and all this God did without my assistance.  I didn't need to do anything except believe despite whether i was yet seeing changes.  I write this today because during holidays i get to sense the peace that i so much longed for twenty years ago.  I get to sit surrounded by my parents and family and enjoy their company.  I enjoy their laughter and the peace that God has so graciously given them and myself.
The miracle that God had created within my family is one that i need to constantly remind myself of.  It reminds me that there are advantages without regrets for those that place their trust in God.  It reminds me that i can never afford to lose sight that my faith is imperative in a dark world that we live in.  That i will never live by my circumstances but by the hope and peace i find in my God.
I encourage you to transform how you think.  If you live by what you see around you, you will never find encouragement.  However if you live by the sustaining faith and hope of what you know God can do for you not only will you break free from the torment of doubt but you will truly get to experience what it is like to give God a chance to be in your life and the mountains that He will move in front of you.
