Gossip, gossip, gossip, gossip... You hear it everywhere! Whether your standing in line at a store, at the gym, at the doctor's office, and yes even in church, well just about anywhere you will hear someone complain about someone else (who most likely isn't even there).
Not to say that sometimes other people's actions can really be upsetting to us however when you feel the need to share your thoughts about that person to someone else you might be encountering an even bigger problem.
Have ever thought that perhaps the reason why you feel the need to speak about someone else might be because you want to deflect the attention from your own issues?
Be so careful with your opinions, you might regret the words you say later on.
If you think "well it's the only way i can fit in and make conversation with other's", than you have a really self esteem issue. If you don't find yourself interesting enough where the only way you can spark conversation is by gossiping about someone else than you need to evaluate what you think about yourself.
Don't forget one thing that i will say to you "YOU MIGHT NEVER KNOW WHAT ISSUES THE PERSON YOU ARE SPEAKING ABOUT MIGHT HAVE".
Whatever problems you are creating by the comments you are making you will soon reap the destruction of your words, for the Word of God says:
"16 There are six things that the Lord hates,
seven that are an abomination to him:
17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue,
and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 a heart that devises wicked plans,
feet that make haste to run to evil,
19 a false witness who breathes out lies,
and one who sows discord among brothers." Proverbs 6:16-19
I know you probably have had a difficult life and past and your tolerance towards people, that in your view don't have any common sense, might be small, however your difficult past and hurt is no justification for sowing evil with your words. I encourage you to make a difference don't follow in the path of unrighteousness but strive to live your life righteously.
