How often do you hear yourself or someone else saying "God needs to give me more patience".
I know I've said it often, especially during those trying times when it seems that everything is just bound to overwhelm you.
I remember for so many years praying and hoping to be more patient, however the more I would hope for it the more I would find myself short of such desired patience.
So, after a long time I finally realized that it's not something you earn or that is given to you, but it's something you mold into your own character. It is something you work at daily ( God knows i have to work at it every day).
The opportunity for stress will always present itself but it is crucial during such trying times to take a deep breath, clear your mind and cautiously weigh your attitude. I've realized for myself that our attitude towards a certain situation is the key element to maintain our minds at peace.
Patience is not a natural trait but a Divine attribute that we need to make part of our human nature.
"If we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we eagerly wait for it" Romans 8:25
When we force ourselves to be patient we have a delayed reaction to circumstances in our life.
We know that there is a purpose for all things and that God is always in control of the outcome of every situation.
I pray that regardless of what difficult situation you might be facing that you wait patiently on God to bring you victory.
