Living like a yoyo

There are times when I have felt like a yoyo. Bouncing back and forth between the million thoughts running in my mind. Bouncing back and forth between wanting to show others kindness and hesitation from doing so because of the fear of evil that constantly increases in this world. One thing it is seen more each day, and that is the increase of lawlessness in this coming age. We are surrounded by people that have their main focus on themselves and very little compassion towards others. "And because lawlessness will increase the love of many will grow cold" Matthew 24:12 I refuse to be part of the many of whom their love "compassion" will grow cold. We cannot allow our fears to hinder us from being and showing the love that God has given us to others that desperately are in need of it. There has to be a revolt inside ourselves against this self centered mind set. We have to revolt against being accommodated. One truth I have learned in my walk with God, we have to constantly move ourselves daily to do the right godly things. It is so easy to allow life to sway us from pursuing what God called us to accomplish. We all have responsibilities daily in our lives but those responsibilities should never hinder us from making time to extend a helping hand. If you haven't made a difference in someone's life lately than you need to think of whether or not you have been playing the faith yoyo game. We all have our ups and downs with this world and for sure God uses the downs to teach us valuable lessons of faith but if you can't seem to get yourself past your downs than I tell you today to choose to shake yourself loose from that bounding power that is trying to destroy the seed of faith that exists inside of you. If you feel that you have lost a sense of purpose and a dense emptiness is starting to occupy the joy you once felt I encourage you today to move yourself out of the deep abbiss you are falling into. The yoyo game stops when we make the decision to get rooted in our walk with God. If you haven't started a walk with God now is a better time than any to start. Emptiness can be filled by either godly peace or it can remain a hole that will only make you more tormented each day. I pray that hope, love and encouragement will abide in you always.
